We’re delighted to welcome the 2026 VELI Cohort! These teams represent leadership from a diversity of institutions across the US. Their projects address this year’s core VELI themes of shared governance and transforming the underlying systems of academia such as budget, promotion and tenure, and institutional rankings. They will spend five days with the HuMetricsHSS team in facilitated and team-work sessions, identifying and operationalizing their own values and the values of their work, mapping their collective power and influence to bring about values-enacted change, and creating practical, tactical plans for making that change happen.
